Electric Custom Wood Branding Iron

Our standard electric branding iron is our most popular plug-in option for woodworkers, makers, and small businesses.

Matched electric handle

Each branding iron includes a custom-machined brass branding plate made in Canada paired with the correct electric heated handle for the selected size.

The handle plugs into a standard 110/120V North American wall outlet and features an illuminated power switch, industrial power cord, stainless steel barrel, and mica heating element.

Rigid plate connection

On larger standard models, the branding plate is secured with a four-point locking system for a firmer, more rigid feel while applying pressure.

Deep brass engraving

Each plate is machined from thick 5/8" brass and engraved 1/8" deep — deeper than most standard branding irons. This helps reduce unwanted background contact and gives the design proper relief.

The brass is also stress-relieved to help reduce the risk of warping over time, especially on larger plates.

Easier alignment

Round, curved, and contour-cut logos are still made with a square or rectangular outer body. This gives you a straight edge to register against your workpiece and helps keep the design properly aligned.
