Premium Red Bronze contains a higher percentage of copper than Commercial Bronze, giving it a subtly warmer, richer tone. While the visual difference is slight, it is prized for developing a more uniform natural patina over time, making it the preferred choice for traditional memorials, historical plaques, monuments, and architectural applications. Commercial Bronze offers excellent durability and appearance at a lower cost, while Premium Red Bronze is selected by customers seeking the most classic bronze alloy and weathering characteristics.

For a screw-free installation, we recommend using PL outdoor construction adhesive, available at most home improvement stores.

It creates a very strong, permanent bond and works on many surfaces, including stone, glass, wood, concrete, brick, and metal. Apply it to the back of the plaque using a standard caulking gun, or use the squeeze-tube version for smaller plaques.

Press the plaque firmly into place and support it while it cures. In most cases, the bond becomes permanent in about 24 hours.

Yes. Our plaques are machined from solid, thick brass or bronze plate. We do not use aluminum, plated metals, thin castings, or cheaper substitute alloys. These are premium, high-end plaques made from real brass and bronze, designed for long-term durability and a substantial, professional appearance.

We offer two primary finishing options. Our signature finish uses a proprietary aging process applied to the recessed background areas of the plaque, creating a natural grey patina that contrasts beautifully with the raised polished or brushed brass or bronze lettering. While we do not disclose the exact process, it combines controlled chemical aging with modern fiber laser and surface-preparation techniques.

For larger plaques, we also offer a durable painted background finish. The recessed background is sandblasted before painting to improve adhesion and long-term durability.

All plaques are protected with a thin clear coat to preserve their appearance during handling, installation, and unveiling. Like all genuine brass and bronze, outdoor plaques will naturally age over time. If you ever wish to restore the original bright finish, we can provide simple care instructions, and we also offer professional refinishing services.
