This is the same general hand-tool construction as our flame-heated wood branding iron, but for workable clay it is used cold.

Select a size above to see its price. Each size includes your custom brass stamp head, wooden handle and connecting rod. Your finished mark may be smaller within the selected tier. For larger stamps or unusually detailed artwork, send your logo for a quote.

For maker’s marks and larger ceramic logos

Use a small mark on a mug base or a larger logo on tiles, planters and pottery wine chillers. Tell us where you plan to stamp, especially if the surface is curved or the clay wall is thin, so the design and size can suit the piece.

How to use it

Use the stamp cold. Test it on spare clay from your normal process, allow the clay to firm enough to hold detail, support the surface behind the mark and apply pressure gradually. Check a fired and glazed sample before committing to a batch. Results vary with clay firmness, support, design and glazing.
